series of large-scale projects including the Blue Stream», — Russia's
president Dmitry Medvedev stated during the negotiations with his
Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul on 13 February. Medvedev's positive
outlook coincided with gazprom's natural gas shipments boost to Turkey.
In response to the Turkish side growing demand, Russian giant increased
shipments by 25.4mn m3 to 64.7 mn m3/d. «According to increased orders
from Botas, Gazprom has added up shipments of Russia's natural gas to
Turkey. The volume of daily exports grew sharply during 11-25 February,
with the supplies via Blue Stream natural gas pipeling growing to 29 mn
m3/d from 20 mn m3/d and supplies via the western corridor (via
Ukraine, Moldova and Bulgaria) increasing from to 38.4 mn m3/d from 22
mn m3/d», according to Gazprom.
